Play online chess		 Subject: Gameknot games advantages.

Since I'm registered on this GREAT site, I play games with 3 days for move, so I've got all the time I want to think for a hard decision. Before, I played real-time chess games twice a week. Now my question is: Do I improve quickly in real-time chess game or in Gameknot games?
What are the advantages or disadvantages playing slowly??

Probably the biggest single advantage for me lies in the the slowness of an opponent's response. I utilize the times he uses to make a response to study the position and analyze potential continuations for both sides. I tend to go out several moves always looking for the best alternative for my opponent. If I reach a position I do not like following that approach I go back and look for an alternative for me that will take the game along what I consider more favorable lines. Hopefully this has enhanced my ability to analyze faster in real-time over the board games although I have no idea as I haven't played one of those in nearly twenty-five years.
